And props to them for coming here to post their ideas even though they usually just get torn down. So I sympathize completely w/ ppl, like the OP, who are looking for "more" out of this game, even if they don't yet know exactly what shape that should take. If the base, in-game mechanics bore you (as they basically did me after a disappointingly small number of hours) then some sort of meta-game is the only hope to keep DRG interesting. The game is still highly lacking in any sort of meta-engagement. OCs are largely underwhelming, and grinding for them is boring.Įven all the minerals and gold are just abstracted into numbers and put into my "account". Verbose vote: I support the OP's idea in general terms, although the implementation details are of course what separate fun loot systems from lame ones.īut DRG has always had a big problem in that the rewards don't match the "risks".
